Another oxycodone forgery ring on Island brought down, authorities say

“Ms. Katz is accused of providing the other members of the group with the stolen prescription forms — she worked at a doctor’s office on Richmond Avenue in Bulls Head, and swiped the sheets while working there, said William J. Smith, Donovan’s spokesman. In January and February of 2009, the four suspects then filled out nine prescriptions for oxycodone at several pharmacies across the Island, Smith said, obtaining roughly 1,000 pills.”
