Prescription drug overdose deaths hold steady in Palm Beach County, rise 18 percent in state

“Statewide, deaths caused by oxycodone painkillers between January and June rose 18 percent compared to last year, and the number of people whose death was caused by at least one prescription drug rose about 16 percent.”
