Zille blames drugs for ‘bad matric results’

“Western Cape Premier Helen Zille believes the drop in Grade 12 results is directly linked to the escalation of drug abuse which often starts in primary school. She plans to introduce random drug testing in schools and increase the number of social workers and psychological counsellors to help early detection of addiction.”
